L-1 VISA REQUIREMENTS 

1. Documents from abroad

*Proof of incorporation from official source
*Copies of incorporation papers
*Proof of ownership: Letter from Vice President or Manager
*Copies of ownership documents (stock certificates etc.)

2. Proof the foreign company has been operating at least one year

*Letter from manager indicating type of business and when business started
*Copies of invoices from the past year - enough to show company is substantial
*Copies of payment orders to banks
*Any other money transfer documents as applicable
*Copies of payroll documents including: payroll ledger and proof of salary payment for the past year
*Financial statements including
*Balance sheet indicating enough cash to support American venture for at least one year
*Profit and Loss statement
*Customs documents as applicable
*Photographs of the Company's office and photos of employees working there

3. Evidence of beneficiary's employment for one year as an executive or manager

*Letter from management indicating job duties and time of service
*Organizational chart of foreign business or descriptive letter

4. Evidence required from the American company

*Certificate of Incorporation
*Minutes showing stock authorization and distribution
*Stock certificates
*Stock Transfer Ledger eg. Commercial Lease etc.
*Photograph of building
*Letter from Town Hall indicating that the premises are in a business zone
*Business Plan from CPA

5. Evidence of Investment

*Money transfer documents from foreign company directly to American company
*Bank letter or statement showing money has been transferred
*Transactional documentation from U.S. company including invoices, bills of lading, customs receipts, etc.

6. Licenses where applicable
